this subject has been beat absolutely to death. All I can say it will only cost about an extra 20 bucks to get the break in oil, and it won't hurt. There has been a lot of changes in oil formulation over the last 20 or more years, so I don't really truly know where we stand. You can spend an extra twenty on insurance or not its all up to you.
