Thanks 62 chevy stepside and Prairie Sailor.Do either of you know what flexplate I should use? Would a 250 straight six flexplate work as long as I redrill the bolt holes and remove the dowel pins as you suggest? Would I have to go with a starter from an automatic straight six also to get the right match also? Prairie Sailor I definately would appreciate a copy of that article too.
