I know that this is a very old thread, but the subject fits my project perfectly. I am in the process of putting together a 292/700r4 combination for my 41 GMC 3/4 ton. In this thread, a reference is made to an article in the May 1998 issue of Classic Trucks Magazine that describes this installation in detail. Does anyone on this board still have a copy of that article, and would you mind making a copy and sending it to me? I would be more than happy to reimburse you for your expenses and inconvenience.
