I think the 250 flexplate would work, though in the Classic Truck article Prairie Sailor is talking about they used a small block unit.
I have that article Prairie Sailor, and I could get that to 63 if you like? Might save you a bit of postage and trees! Let me know.
This article would probably be worth waiting for 63. It will give you a good idea what your getting into.
