The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area Engine Shop 292 automatic tranny swap

I want to convert from a manual to an automatic.I have a 292.Will a later model automatic tranny bolt up to the 292? And will a flywheel from a 250 fit my 292? Or do I have to go with a newer 250 and auto tranny? The 292 runs great and I'd like to keep it if I can get away with it.Any suggestions folks!
