Here are a couple of pictures of my mock up.
I had not thought about push rods but they can be had/made in any length- no big deal
as far as the cooling...I'm going to run the water thru the block first ( 1960 front cover and water pump ) and then thru the heads in to the manifold/ thermostat housing. Like "normal" If I have any over heating issues I can exit the water out of the back of the heads into a spacer under the T housing
