I think you gotta find someone who wants to do it. An old time mechanic with a boiling vat for the block. If the block is cracked that's an entirely different matter. All internal engine parts are readily available for the 305 V6. Do what you want of course after all it is yours but for someone to tell you the parts to rebuild it are not available, that's just not right.
