perhaps that was the wrong choice of words, maybe "find a different machine shop" is what I should have said. One that is capable of doing what you need, like I said I had a horrid time trying to find one that had any idea what they were doing with old stovebolt engines, I can just imagine how difficult it would be to find one that knows anything about these engines. I am probably wrong, but I'm thinking they made a whole lot less of these V-6's than the old inlines. But in either case it wouldn't hurt to do some research on your own, the internet is your friend in some cases.
