It took alot of fuses and takin apart and puttin together. Be persistant and it should eventually turn up something real easy to fix. To me it sounds like you got mixed wires or just a short. Good luck. I'm older than my truck but it's smarter than me! 66 GMC 3/4 ton fleetside 283, turbo 400.
