Again, I am not trying to be demeaning, but this is exactly what you are up against! It has gone from a smoking 10 gauge wire to a toasted fuel gauge to a small charred wire.
Unless you fall back and regroup, I am afraid you will be chasing your tail. Take a few days off, get a good wiring diagram and follow each wire to it proper location.
If you don't know where you are, how can you get to where you want to be. Good luck.
