In order to cause enough resistence to cause the ampmeter wire to get that hot, you have something grounded. But let me ask 3 things. Do you have a cigar lighter? Is it stuck in?. Is your truck negative ground or positive ground? Could it be that it is negative ground and you have the battery hooked wrong? I didn't do it, no one saw me do it, you can't prove anything!
