After 15 years of waiting, I am finally purchasing my dream truck, a 54 chevy 3100. The truck I am getting is a 6V system and I will need to convert it over. I have no idea how and where to start on it.
Is there any suggestions?

Do you need to change to 12v because you want to use 12v accessories?
