yes, but .... yes, but .... don't see where they say anything about assembly lube, so "assembly lube" IS "mystery goo" - also don't see where they call for any cam break in as cam makers do, maybe that has already been done on a crate engine?
can we drop this? everyone [else] agrees using EOS [made by GM after all] or some other 'mystery goo' is very cheap insurance after spending a bundle on rebuilding one of these old engines, no need to rant about it being hype, owners call, use it or not
