Thank you everyone for the input. I haven't performed a break in on a new cam before. I was always lucky enough to be able to reuse the cam that came with the engine. I will consult the information that came with the new cam. I haven't seen it yet as the machine shop still has the re-build kit and my castings. They are finishing up doing a total rebuild of the cylinder head. I am supposing it will all be ready by Monday.
Block bored .030, crank ground .030. All new hardened seats, guides, valves, and springs. Engine balanced to within a 1/100 of a gram. It should be one hell of an engine for my 54 3100.
