Might have a thought. We did a 57 1/2 ton truck with a 235. Pulled the radiator to change the front seal. Put it all back together and it got hot! Turns out that we trapped a huge air bubble in there and air won't cool anything. After the bubble came around and the steam blew past us we had to add lots more coolant. Next time we ran the truck with the cap off. Same issue. Just getting that air out was a pain. after it passed the bubble...no more issues. Any one got a trick for this?
