Thanks for all the help. As long as this is normal, Great! I have the old 6volt switch under the dash thats just flips up and down has what I feel to be a ceramic cylinder with a wire coiled around it. Ok It works.
I really didnt think I was going to 'spark' a 'charged' debate. ha ha-I love being a dork!
