I would be VERY concerned about having those two barrels strapped onto the side of the frame. They appear to be used for fuel. WOW. It wouldn't pass an inspection anywhere that requires it and I doubt you'd even get thru a weigh station with that hanging on there. Otherwise it looks to be a good find.
Good point,53M.P.! Safety 1st! Back in the day,those barrels were installed by farmers,who had a long way to go between the farm,and the elevator. Way less traffic back in those days,too. If you (Heaven Forbid)were T-boned in an accident,you'd go up like a "Roman Candle",with little chance of escaping the inferno! They may be functional,and look "Cool",but they're definitely dangerous. I wish I had your "box". Mine's only 13',and I'll have to fabricate a set of removable ramps/beaver-tail,in order to use my truck as a vehicle transport. Your truck looks like it's in nice shape.
