Good point,53M.P.! Safety 1st! Back in the day,those barrels were installed by farmers,who had a long way to go between the farm,and the elevator. Way less traffic back in those days,too. If you (Heaven Forbid)were T-boned in an accident,you'd go up like a "Roman Candle",with little chance of escaping the inferno! They may be functional,and look "Cool",but they're definitely dangerous. I wish I had your "box". Mine's only 13',and I'll have to fabricate a set of removable ramps/beaver-tail,in order to use my truck as a vehicle transport. Your truck looks like it's in nice shape.
