not sure if i have hydrovac my master looks like the one on jim carter i believe.

could i just put a dual master off a 79 one ton chevy. i understand they usually bolt to the booster but is a booster really needed. the smoke is coming from the exhaust and an odd manifold pipe that runs down the back of the motor and just dumps off. not sure what is is.
