See the TECH TIPS here on the 'Bolt for a good "How-To" on using an HEI on a 235 or 261. Remember to run a 10ga power lead from an always on switched power source.
I have bought HEIs on ebay and on the inside of the casting they say "Holden" which is GM in Australia. There may be some Chinese ones there, but I have never gotten one. All the "ebay" ones seem to have to much vacuum advance. I have had to replace the vacuum can with a 10 degree can from a V-8 "High Performance Kit" from the flaps. ALL the HP parts that fit the V-8 version work on the L6 version except the cap and shaft! Have fun, guys!
