I have a 235 with single carb, Fenton dual exhaust and Mallory ignition. I want to install dual Carter-Weber carbs. The Mallory does not have a vacuum advance. Considering replacing the Mallory ignition with HEI ignition. My original distributor is long gone. Was told the HEI will respond better as a daily driver.
Looking for some input on the distributor ignition.
