It comes out the access panel on the bottom or the door, trust me it will. First is you crank the window down until you can see 4 clutch head screws that hold the glass frame to the channel through the holes in the door itself.These have probably never been apart so spray some good penetrant on them, they are short about 3/8" long. This will then allow you to roll the regulator away from the window. It tips forward and you bring it out. You also need to remove the inner trim around the glass/door frame. Now remove the handle from the regulator, they have two set screws one outer and then an inner. A long thin standard blade is required. The channel on the regulator then can be slid off and removed. Now remove the screws from the area around the window crank hole. Inside the door there is a track, the bottom roller goes in you need to slide that roller out. The window regulator can now be collapsed and fished out the bottom hole. This takes a bit of finesse but it will collapse and come out. There is an open semi-circle gear, check it for bent or missing teeth. If this is your trouble it is time to find a new regulator. Where the window crank attaches to the gear train there is a riveted cover you have to remove the rivets to access that. There are good rebuild kits available. Do it once and you will know how to do this forever, not particularly easy but in a couple hours you will know what you are dealing with. As a note there is a Cab Manual for the 47-50 trucks that covers this procedure, I do not have the electronic version only a hard copy.
