I'm a bit lost here. How does an overbore raise compression? Maybe I don't understand the fundamentals of compression. I would have thought that an overbore would increase the volume in the cylinder and therefore lower the pressure of the gas when compressed the same amount during the piston stroke. Am I out in left field here??
