Place it around the glass first. set the car and windshienld in the sun. It helps warm up the stiff rubber. Place a string inside the rubber channel all the way around. Put windshield in place and start working the body into the groove, and use the string to help with the lip. Take your time. It helps to have another helper. Don't bang too hard on the glass.
