thanks jock, an ark is the way i think!...i took the truck to the isle of wight rock festival a few weeks ago and boy did it rust alot! i was madly covering it with engine oil to stop the bad weather..while driving water was coming in from everywhere! even with good seals...90pmh winds didnt help!
yep me trucks solid as hell! got it from a chap who was importing it from hollywood. and purchased it from the docks in london B-)..it was in a state when it came over...just about run...i dont think it has been on the road for years....so set to work.
its my 1st yank...after many nights of thinkin can i handle one!.. took 6 months of every night weekend..ect to rewire...fix the body up and just about re build everything.. it keeps me out of the pub alright.
cant bring myself to paint it at all so this winter going to have a mat clear coat all over to hold the weather back.! as again...im in the workshop 3rd time for gearbox out in a month ..and pleased its raining!! as its knackard until new oil seal goes in!
