are you testing this with the light assemblies hanging by the wires? if everything is mounted on the truck, a good ground shouldn't be a problem unless you stuck some rubber or sealer in the wrong place, or painted something you shouldn't have .... the ground is via the socket to the light body to the grill via the mounting screws .... try clipping a piece of wire from the socket to a grill mounting bolt
