I didnt see if you had checked if your vacuum advance was working, but the reason to do so is that if it is not working, most likely the diaphram is busted and you will then have a vacuum leak. This can affect your idle.
Do have a steel or brass idle screw? My 2100S had a steel screw which was very corroded. This could be another problem.
