When you "put in in 5 years ago" was it after a rebuild? I am probably wrong on this but it sounds like maybe incorrect main bearings. It sounds like you've done all the external fixes so that makes an internal problem look more likely. I hope for your sake someone says I'm out of my mind and gives you an easy soulution.
