....somewhere on here a bolter cut some flat aluminum plates in the shape of an oval and put them on the running boards in just the right place.
If my memory is correct they used some of the good trim adhesive and put a bead or two on the rib of the running boards and put the plats on top....no screws or bolts.
It looked pretty neat to me and I'm planning on seeing how one would look on the panel. Diamond plate, brushed look or maybe something else.
Just another option/opinion.
I wish I could recall who did the plate....will the real plate person please check in
