I just completed painting my 1957 Chevy Truck. It seems like the new paint on the cab step treads will quickly be beat up. I was thinking that bed-liner, or something similar, on the tread would wear much better. However, I don't recall ever seeing a truck done that way. That makes me think that may be it is not such a great idea. Does anybody have any experience or opinions on this?
