In no way was my post intended to be argumentative, more so, to explain, that the manufacturers of these parts, in most cases, have never installed their kit on one of these trucks and anyone that has actually installed a so-called kit, regardless of what it is, knows, first-hand, that the description, does not match the actual installation process.
Your contributions are useful and welcome, by all, but going through the hands-on exercise, is price-less in knowing the nuances and the "why didn't they explain that in the directions" part of the process.
