That's a great article. I agree with what it says about the rear-mounted tanks, and at the same time, it also says in-cab tanks are dangerous. What's a person to do?

I'm still convinced that the idea I mentioned previously might be the best chance of having a "safe" gas tank. That is, on a truck with a leaf rear suspension, either from the factory, or modified as such, mount a Chevy S10 tank within the frame right beside the drive shaft. I don't know if it would fit there, but if it would, I believe that would be ideal. I hope to try it one day.
