George, JimCarter has new repop tanks for the panels now. I bought one for my panel when they were available. I think around mid year..... 2 years ago.
EDIT: I still think they are plenty of instances when a sealer will be just fine. It all depends on condition. "I" decided it was not a good decision to seal the panel tank I purchased from a bolter but had it not been "quite that bad" I would have sealed it and drive on.
Sometime ago there was a neat article on the sealers and why some crack ect and why some do not. I wish I had kept it.... and it depended a lot on WHICH sealer you used. Some were truly hokey pokey's.
