The sheet metal looks good.
It looks like it has a high-pressure engine - the valve cover is held on by 4 machine screws. The carburetor has an automatic choke but they were more common on the later 235 engines (most, if not all later car 235s had automatic chokes).
The wiring under the dash looks a little loose.
15" wheels were optional in all 47-55 1/2 ton GM trucks. Maybe they were standard in some trucks or in some years in GMCs (or in Canada).
