For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 14,522 Moderator: Welcome Centre, Southern Bolters, Legion Hall | | Moderator: Welcome Centre, Southern Bolters, Legion Hall Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 14,522 | It sounds to me like maybe someone has changed the engine to maybe a 235. Is the valve cover held on by two bolts that come through the top of the valve cover or by screws around the lip of the valve cover?
I don't have anything to run the numbers but I suggest you post this inquiry in the Engine and Driveline forum. Not everyone visits here in the welcome center.
Welcome to the Stovebolt. Your at the right place for information and help with your problems. Just post in the most appropiate forum and you'll be surprised. Good luck. Oh, you may want to ask the License plate question in the General truck forum.... or maybe the paint and body? Either way you will get answers!! | | |
