| | THANKS!
For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jul 2011 Posts: 74 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jul 2011 Posts: 74 | I need to find out what engine is in my (new) 1948 panel truck. The vin # is 6fsh2035 which tell me it is 1 ton but not the size of the engine. I can't find anything on the motor or pan. There is B50 B48 B50 E218 stamped on the motor but not sure what they or for. Also New Mexico #13--Rod 030--Main 010 on the stamped plate. Did they just use the 216 in 1948 1 ton. One other thing is where did they have the license plate. I hate to drill into the door if that is not where it should be. I am trying to keep original as I can. Thanks For Your Help | | |
