I just took a 4 1/2" Craftsman Grinder back I bought in 1980 it was a pro model and when I bought it I asked if it was covered and they said No! The manager a woman told me they never were covered. I told her that she was FULL OF S xx t! She told me that I was wrong and I asked for the store manager. Make a long story short he said that yes there were some Grand Fathered in. Well he made here take down all my numbers off the tool my name which made her more or less eat Crow! She was to call me when she found out. I never heard a word for three weeks so I went in and the assistant manger came out and gave me a new pro model at no cost and told me that the garrenty was still in effect on this model too just like the last one. So all of you raise a little cane and they will help you out. Tell them you will call corprate and make sure you get there name and employee number too.
