10-4 wrenchbender! (BTW, I was explaining some of the people responding to this post and my wife thought your name handle was very funny). I have the fingers that rise out of the PP collar and not flat like Tim shows. Therefore, I'm going to get the shorter TO bearing, yank the stinking tranny and longbed extension next weekend and get the darn thing in. Hope it's right 'cause something is certainly wrong. It was interesting that Carter sold me the entire clutch assembly and they only list the long TO bearing and no short one and as fitting from early '40's to the 70's. It's a pisser!
