I recently completed my 1954 GMC 100 pickup and decided to re-do everything that would probably break down after sitting for over 30 years. I spent about 6 months and around $6,000.00 on bed wood, belts, hoses, brakes, wires, etc. etc., but don't regret it at all. I have a sweet ride and think you will do the same. It has all stock suspension, engine, trans, rear end, etc. I'm completely satisfied with the looks and ride.
