What red58 said. Take it apart, make sure it works, if so clean it up, lub it or paint it whatever it needs then put it back on. You can't do this with all the parts because time has taken its toll, but springs and axles ect can be cleaned up and redone with plenty of life left in them. Good luck with the project!
