Compression fittings and brake lines don't go together in the same sentence; it is not legal to use compression fittings for hydraulic brake plumbing.
Did you mean to say a double flared end on the tube and the proper tube nuts, that's the legal and safe way to connect brake lines?

For fuel line you could use 5/16" or 3/8" steel line from your FLAPS and bead and slip rubber hose on the ends if you want. Can also double flare and use fittings just the same.
