Ok...I reset the points...still nothing...so I worked the point arm back and forth with a screwdriver and forced it to close...I had spark !!...got all excited and quickly tried for fire but lost spark after a couple tries...I then cleaned the arm pivit and the actual points....I seem to have consistant spark now .... Still working on fire however : (
