Kennedy sucked me into the system with his "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country" speech and put a cap on it when his life was taken. I joined the USAF in March of '64 just before my 22nd birthday and served till March of '68. Worked in TTY maintenance keeping M-28 and Crypto gear running. Spent time of course in San Antonio then shipped to tech school in Wichita Falls, TX, (ahh Fran, I should have married you, what a summer that was.) Next came the com center at McClellan in Sacramento, CA and finally a couple of years in the Philippines with the 1st Mobile Communications Group with a few visits to Saigon in '67 & '68 before discharge. An interesting four years and I still personally feel that every able-bodied male and female in this country should spend some time in support of his or her country. But those four were enough for me and I was glad to get back to civilian life and good old Capitalism. Denny Graham Sandwich, IL
