Know I'm late to the formation. I've been on the Forum for yea number of years and have not gotten this far. I went into the Air Force in 1966, on the promise of becoming an Aircraft engine mechanic. Lo and behold, they stuck me in Electronic Countermeasures Technician school. Washed out of there (Keesler AFB), got stuck in Base Operations (Travis AFB), then to Hickam AFB Base Ops for six months. From there to Mactan AB working in Aircrew Manning, Got shuttled up to Clark AB when Mactan shut down. From there back stateside to once again Travis AFB. After all that, my intentions of making a career out of the AF went out the window, and I went Johnny Paycheck on them---Take this job and s@#$e it!
