Yes, I had the same prolem as TXChevy50. I modified my crossmember and welded a little extra under it... but I didn't need to as when I modified it I found out the crossover had a piece of 1/4's steel bar through it but not all crossmembers are like this. Here are a few pics. Hope they help.
