Superfly, what truck chassis are you using? Not that it makes any difference but it might??
I'm running headers on my 350 with 700R4 in my 37 pickup with original chassis with no problems. I have not run the exhaust on my panel yet but I'm using a set of ram horn 283 hearders on it but I believer a set of headers would be low enough to work on the 52 panel.....someone else may be able to answer your question better than me.
