I have a Patricks dual in/dual out in the same spot as the original muffler. The tail pipes run up and over the differential and straight out the back, just underneath the bumper, on either side of the hitch. A nearby muffler shop did the whole thing (my muffler) from headers to tail pipes for $300. It was AWESOME driving it to the shop running straight out of the headers. A couple of kids in a 67-72? drove by and gave the thumbs up. I let em roar a little bit
Now that it's done the sound is great. Nice and quiet at idle and then it really sings a nice rumble at 2500-3300rpms. And going sraight out the back it's even quieter - at least for the driver!
