Water wetter is not just soap, it is used to keep the coolant flowing correctly through the water jackets. When the water does not flow properly it allows hot spots to develop around the combustion area where steam develops and in big truck engines can cause electrolysis and eat all the way through a water jacketed liner. Che your DCA level every 6 months and keep conditioner levels correct. It cannot hurt but it sure can help. Kieth
