Water wetter is not just soap, it is used to keep the coolant flowing correctly through the water jackets. When the water does not flow properly it allows hot spots to develop around the combustion area where steam develops and in big truck engines can cause electrolysis and eat all the way through a water jacketed liner. Che your DCA level every 6 months and keep conditioner levels correct. It cannot hurt but it sure can help. Kieth [quote=Kieth]

Back when I was in the wholesale florist business (18 yrs) we would get flowers from Columbia that needed a hot drink of water or needed to be dyed a specific color. In order to get the water to flow up the stems we used what was called a wetting agent. We bought it from Colorado Chemical and Dye and it was fairly $$. I discovered it was only Tide Detergent. That wetting agent was soap; this water wetter may be something else. However it seems the object to get the water to improve its flow abilities runs closely to what we were trying to do.
