Choose one that is about 2/3's the size of your radiator and put it on the engine side as a "puller". If not enough room because of the mechanical fan then take the mechanical fan off and run only a good electic.
This of coarse is just my opinion but I see a LOT of cars/trucks running on the electric fan these days. LOTS of them, old originals and newer updated ones.
