I also rented a U-haul trailer to bring my truck home about 1 1/2 hour ride down an interstate. I was pulling it with my 05 Chevy 3500 with a 6.0 I had no problem pulling it but the surge breaks on the the trailer didn't work. I have an electric break set up on my truck but U-haul didn't offer a trailer with electric breaks. I also had an issue with the straps that come on the trailer but luckly I had chains and binders with me. It is convenient having a company that offers these trailers but they are far from kept up, really inspect the trailer that you rent.
